Dissident Anatomy?
Bodies, The Exhibition is now showing in South Florida. This is a dubious “art” exhibition consisting of cadavers in various positions depicting everyday activities, such as sports. The cadavers belonged to Chinese citizens, of whom, as the exhibition website admits, it is not known whether they ever gave consent to have their bodies thus posthumously used. Now connect the dots with the thriving sales of Chinese prisoner organs, and like me, you may just wonder whether it falls within a reasonable realm of probability that these are the bodies of former Chinese dissidents, and if so, would you then risk supporting an exhibition that potentially exploits their misfortune?
